Hyperion ® Essbase ® Excel Add-in Download

Hyperion ® Essbase ® Excel Add-in is a Microsoft Excel plug-in developed by Hyperion that connects spreadsheets directly to Essbase multidimensional databases. It lets finance and business users perform ad hoc analysis, build formatted reports, and interact with enterprise data from within Excel’s familiar interface. Users can pivot, drill down and roll up, select members, apply aliases, and suppress missing or zero values to create dynamic, refreshable views of their cubes. With appropriate permissions, they can also submit data back to enabled models for planning and forecasting workflows. The add-in preserves native Excel formulas and formatting, making it easy to incorporate Essbase data into existing workbooks and reporting processes.
